Liturgical Communion

The process developed by monks of Aeryn-Vox during a siege where food ran thin, of eating a book page by page after reading it, a manner of ritual is preformed during the reading (secret to those outside of practicing orders) that causes the book to bind with the person allowing words to form upon their skin said to be divine revelation to those who can interpret it. In combative orders, the monks then take the empty covers of the books and convert them into magazines so that the connection between the monk and book may fuel the bullets with their magics. People with tattoos depicting words are asked to cover them up in the presence of peaceful orders and attacked on sight by the non peaceful orders.
